Every Brake Job — Done to MTO Standards

Brakes are the one system that can't have a "kind of working" day. We measure, inspect, and adjust everything that contributes to stopping the truck.

  • Air brake system inspection — chambers, valves, lines, and air dryers
  • Brake shoe, pad, drum, and rotor replacement
  • S-cam, bushing, and slack adjuster service
  • Automatic slack adjuster diagnosis and replacement
  • Brake chamber and spring brake replacement
  • Air lines, fittings, and gladhand repair
  • ABS scan and fault diagnosis on tractors and trailers
  • Wheel seal, hub, and bearing service when the drums come off
  • Brake adjustment and full push-rod stroke check
  • Road test before we hand the keys back

Symptoms That Mean Get It Looked At

Brakes warn you before they fail. If you're seeing any of these, get it in — small fixes now beat roadside breakdowns and out-of-service tickets later.

Pulling to One Side

Truck dives left or right when you stop. Usually a sticking caliper, frozen slack, or uneven shoe wear — easy to find, important to fix.

Grinding or Squealing

Metal-on-metal noise means pads or shoes are gone and you're chewing into rotors or drums. Bring it in before the damage spreads.

Low or Slow Air Pressure

Gauge won't build, or it drops too fast at idle. Usually a leak, a tired compressor, or a worn air dryer — we'll find it on the leak-down test.

ABS Light On

An ABS fault is an automatic safety failure. We scan the system, trace the wheel sensor or modulator at fault, and clear it the right way.

Long Stopping Distance

Truck takes longer than it should to come down. Could be worn linings, contamination, out-of-adjustment slacks, or a weak chamber.

Brakes Dragging or Hot

One wheel runs hot or smells after a stop. Stuck caliper, frozen slack, or a chamber that isn't releasing — all easy to catch on a proper inspection.

Inspect First, Quote Second, Fix It Right

No surprise bills. Four steps from check-in to back on the road.

  1. 01

    Inspect

Wheels off, full measurement of linings, drums, rotors, and push-rod stroke. We air-test the system and scan for ABS faults.

  2. 02

    Quote

Clear estimate — parts, labor, and timeline — before we touch anything. You decide what's getting fixed.

  3. 03

    Repair

Quality parts, torqued to factory spec, and adjusted properly. Wheel seals and hubs get cleaned up while we're in there.

  4. 04

    Road Test

Brake balance check, stopping test, and a final temperature check. The truck doesn't leave until it stops straight and even.

"Very professional workplace. Highly recommend. Affordable prices."

Brake Service — Quick Answers

Do you work on air brakes and hydraulic brakes?

Yes — full-air S-cam, air-over-hydraulic, and disc/drum hydraulic systems on tractors, trailers, straight trucks, and box trucks. Bendix, Haldex, Meritor, WABCO — all of it.

How long should heavy-duty brakes last?

Depends on your loads, your routes, and your drivers — anywhere from 100,000 to 300,000 km for shoes. The real answer is in the measurement: come in for an inspection and we'll tell you what's left.

Can you fix the ABS light?

Yes. We scan the ABS module on tractors and trailers, trace the fault to a wheel sensor, modulator, or wiring issue, and repair the actual cause — not just clear the code.

Will you do the brakes during my safety inspection?

Absolutely. We're a licensed MTO Safety Inspection Station, so if your brakes are due or need adjustment for the sticker, we handle it in the same visit.

How fast can you turn around a brake job?

Most pad or shoe replacements are same day or next morning, depending on parts. Bigger jobs — drums, chambers, ABS — we'll give you a firm timeline with the quote.
