Trailer Problems We Fix Every Week

Most trailer issues start small and quietly turn into roadside problems. If you spot any of these, get it in before they cost you a load.

Lights Out or Flickering

A dead tail or marker light is an automatic ticket. Usually corroded pigtails, broken grounds, or a chafed harness — easy to find, faster to fix.

Air Leak You Can't Find

Pressure drops while parked, or you hear the compressor cycling. We soap-test the system and trace it to the line, fitting, or valve.

Landing Gear Won't Crank

Seized gearbox, stripped legs, or bent crank shaft. We repair or replace what's needed and grease it so the next driver isn't fighting it.

Doors Won't Close or Seal

Sagging hinges, bent panels, blown seals on roll-ups, or busted door hardware. We straighten, repair, and replace so the trailer locks shut.

Trailer ABS Light On

Trailer ABS fault — usually a wheel-speed sensor, modulator, or wiring. We scan the trailer, find the actual fault, and clear it the right way.

In the Door, Back on the Road

No surprise charges. Four steps and a road test before you hook up.

  1. 01

    Inspect

Full walk-around — frame, suspension, brakes, air, lighting, doors. If you brought it in for one thing, we still tell you what else we see.

  2. 02

    Quote

Honest estimate before any work starts. We separate "must-fix" from "nice-to-fix" so you can decide what gets done now.

  3. 03

    Repair

Mechanical, electrical, and air system work — all in one shop. Quality parts, proper procedure, no shortcuts.

  4. 04

    Verify

Air leak-down test, light check, brake adjustment, and door function check before we hand it back.

Trailer Repair — Quick Answers

What kinds of trailers do you work on?

Dry vans, reefers, flatbeds, step-decks, dumps, low-boys, tankers, container chassis, and specialty trailers. If it tows behind a truck, we work on it. (For reefer refrigeration units we'll handle the mechanical side and coordinate with your reefer tech.)

Can you do a trailer safety inspection while it's in?

Yes — we're a licensed MTO Safety Inspection Station, so an annual trailer safety can ride alongside any other repair. One trip, one stop, one sticker.

My trailer ABS light is on — can you fix it?

Yes. We scan the trailer ABS, trace faults to the wheel-speed sensor, modulator, or wiring, and repair the root cause — not just clear the code so it pops up an hour later.

How fast can you turn a trailer around?

Lights, air leaks, brake adjustments — often same day. Bigger frame, suspension, or floor work takes longer; we give you a firm timeline with the quote so you can plan the load.

Trailer Down? Let's Talk.

Call and you'll talk to a real mechanic, not a service writer. We'll tell you what we think before you bring it in.
