Brakes Out of Adjustment
One chamber stroking past the legal mark is a fail. We adjust everything to spec as part of the inspection.
Annual safeties, semi-annual inspections, and pre-sale safety certifications on commercial trucks and trailers. Get your sticker on-site — and if something fails, we fix it in the same shop.
A safety isn't a paperwork exercise — it's a head-to-toe inspection. We check what the MTO standard requires and tell you straight if anything's borderline.
A few quick checks can save you a re-inspection. Here's what most often catches drivers out.
One chamber stroking past the legal mark is a fail. We adjust everything to spec as part of the inspection.
Steer below 2/32" or drive/trailer below 1/32" is a fail. Measure before you come in — or have us replace it the same day.
A single dead marker, brake, or tail light is a fail. We fix lighting on the spot.
Pressure dropping faster than the standard allows. Often a small line, fitting, or chamber — quick to fix.
Worn kingpins, loose tie rods, broken spring leaves. We measure and replace what's beyond spec.
Cracks in the frame, worn fifth-wheel jaws, or excess kingpin play. All structural fails — and all things we can fix in-house.
No bouncing between shops. Four steps from check-in to sticker on the windshield.
Full MTO-standard inspection — brakes, air, suspension, steering, frame, tires, lights, coupling, glass. We document everything.
If anything fails, you get an itemized list and a clear quote — no surprise charges, no padded line items.
You approve, we fix it — in the same shop, same visit if parts are on hand. No towing to a second location.
Sticker on the windshield (or trailer plate) and your inspection certificate in hand. You leave road-legal.

Most commercial trucks and trailers need an annual safety inspection by the MTO standard. Some heavier or specialty vehicles fall under semi-annual rules. If you're not sure which applies to you, call and we'll walk you through it.
You get an itemized list of what failed and a clear estimate to fix it. Because we're a full repair shop, we can do most repairs the same day. Once it passes, we issue the sticker on the spot.
The inspection itself is usually 1–2 hours. If repairs are needed, time depends on what's wrong — small fixes are same day; bigger items get a written timeline before we start.
Yes. Pre-sale safety certifications are part of what we do — common for owner-operators selling a truck or transferring ownership.
Ownership/registration and your current safety certificate (if you have one) help. Drop the truck off with a reasonable fuel level and we'll handle the rest.
Call and you'll talk to a real mechanic, not a service writer. We'll get you in fast and back on the road.
